The Salt Lake Community College Women’s Soccer team has achieved considerable athletic success competing as a Division 1 program in the NJCAA in the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) since 2016.
Most recently, the Bruins appeared in back-to-back NJCAA National Tournaments. In Fall 2021, SLCC advanced to the semifinal, but was knocked out by Tyler Junior College in a 1-0 loss. In Spring 2021, the Bruins made it to the championship final in their first ever Tournament appearance where they finished as Runners-Up.
In addition to their success on the national stage, the SLCC Women’s Soccer program have won several championships within their Region and District:
Many SLCC Women’s Soccer players have earned All-American accolades from the NJCAA and United Soccer Coaches. Players have transferred on to the NCAA, playing for schools like Utah State University, Utah Valley University, University of West Florida, Westminster College, Colorado Mesa University, and Montana State University - Billings.
